The BCMW3336 is a cordless rotary lawnmower which runs on a Black & Decker 36v lithium ion battery, meaning it shares battery compatibility with other tools in the range such as grass trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, leaf blowers and vacuum cleaners. If you already own a Black & Decker 36v battery and charger it is available as a bare tool so you don't have to buy duplicates of them, or it is also available as a complete starter kit with a battery and charger included. This is the bare tool version which doesnot include a battery or charger.
